mmmmm it DOES go well with the chicken!

Just in case anyone speaks 'wine'...

We will be serving a savingnon blanc that my sister-in-law Rebekah crafted HER OWN SELF!! at Buccella.  From Rebekah:

2010 Buccella Sauvignon Blanc
I made this wine in a bright, fruity style and thought it would be a good match for a light menu and a summer’s evening.  The wine was fermented at a cool temperature in stainless steel in order to retain those fresh, delicate aromas.  I did stir the lees on a regular basis to add richness to the mouthfeel.  On the nose the wine shows kiwi fruit, grapefruit, honeycomb and ripe apricots.  In the mouth there’s a nice crisp acidity and citrus/tropical flavors (think guava or honeydew melon).  Here are the grapes right before pressing...

Rebekah was assistant @ Spy Valley in '09 and the pinot noir is also one of hers... Here is a photo of her forklifting the precious grapes. (Emailed this pic to my dad on his birthday - very cute)

Cheers to Rebekah!

For indulging all our wine questions over the years and for all the amazing wines we have enjoyed!

You rock.

It's Coming...

As the date approaches there will be a few more updates.... conditions at Alister's house (for the ceremony), and maybe some organized stuff/things to do on Thursday and Friday for those coming early.

I updated the map with 'Things to Do' and added links to our favorite restaurants downtown (Stay & Eat tab).  Unfortunately most of downtown Salt Lake City is not very walkable and many people here, while polite, are not very helpful when it comes to what 'others' want to do and see.... hence my obsession with providing all this info!!

We are getting excited...

Email us with any questions or concerns in the meantime ;)
